Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is a mercurial music producer and singer, who combines the soul of gospel and jazz with R&B to create a unique mix. Sunshine has appeared on Broadway, at the Democratic National Convention and in clubs and festivals throughout Europe. Sunshine has been born Denise White. Although she is based in Atlanta Her roots lie located in Chester Pennsylvania. There she first began to develop as an artist by playing the piano and singing in the church. She attended Spellman College in Atlanta where she began her training at the heart of Atlanta's R&B scene. The Fighting Temptations The first single with her vocals was Stalk You a house 12 issued only in Japan The song has been remixed by numerous producers and is a staple in her live show. The singer has also provided her vocals in The Fighting Temptations' soundtrack. In 2005she took on the role of the lead keyboardist for Tyler Perry's stage production Meet the Browns. In 2007 Grammy as well as Tony Awards-winning singer Jennifer Holliday sought her out to be the director of choral in the production staged by Dreamgirls in the National Black Arts Festival in Atlanta. Sunshine was caught the attention of America during the four shows per day of 2008's Democratic National Convention. Sunshine was later asked to sing in the presence of the President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
